Graduation Day

When last summer Vanessa announced that she'd booked her Graduation Ceremony for 4 May my heart sank as it was a classic date for a bumper seawatch.  As the time approached I'm sure I was more anxious than she was but in the event a south-easterly wind didn't blow ...  21 Red Kites and 2 Bullfinches meant that the day it wasn't a write off for birds either.
